Sip of the Month: Vanilla Pear And Ginger Fizz

Sip of the Month: Vanilla Pear And Ginger Fizz

Our September Sip of the Month is the Vanilla Pear and Ginger Fizz, a sparkling cocktail that feels like the perfect bridge between late summer and fall. Sweet pear, warm ginger, soft vanilla, and a maple sugar rim make it cozy, elegant, and just a little bit special.

*PEAR SYRUP

Makes about 1 cup

INGREDIENTS

1 ripe pear, chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla, optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

Let simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, until the pear has softened and the syrup is lightly flavoured.
