About The Maker
Ayako, a couture sample seamstress with more than 40 years of experience, contributes her extensive knowledge of fine sewing and garment construction. Yuko, trained in kimono and luxury fur tailoring, advises on the careful handling of the vintage textile. Founder Ayuko brings these traditions into a contemporary form, translating generations of artisanal knowledge into a bag designed for modern use.
