Handcrafted in Japan from an authentic vintage 100% silk fukuro obi, the bag features luminous white and silver peonies on one side and warm gold peonies on the other. Both designs are woven against a deep black silk ground, with fine silver and red lines bringing movement and contrast to the textile.

Each side presents a different yet complementary view, allowing the bag to change character depending on how it is carried. The sophisticated black, white and gold palette gives it a quietly dramatic presence that pairs beautifully with evening dresses, dark tailoring and polished everyday looks.

Unused vintage silk obijime cords form the handles, while full interfacing and an inserted base help the compact tote stand upright. Inside, a pocket made from the reverse of the obi features delicate gold-line detailing and provides convenient storage for a phone, cards or other small essentials.
