Meet the Etna Spritz — Sicily in a glass. Think of it as a sun-soaked twist on the classic aperitivo, inspired by the volcanic hills just north of Catania. At its heart is Amaro dell’Etna, a local bitter liqueur with herbal, slightly smoky notes that bring depth and character to every sip
The sun was warm, the streets were alive with the scent of citrus and rosemary, and the drink itself somehow captured the energy of Sicily in a single glass. Ever since, it’s become my go-to for slow, lingering sips — whether I’m at home or imagining myself back in that Italian afternoon.
The beauty of this spritz is in its simplicity: Prosecco for sparkle, a splash of soda for freshness, and a garnish of orange and rosemary that evokes the scents of a Sicilian afternoon. It’s a drink that feels at home whether you’re toasting a quiet night in or reminiscing about your last city wander.
