Sip of the Month: Winter Aperol Spritz
Elevate your holiday cheer with a delightful twist on the classic Aperol spritz! This refreshing cocktail, originally a summer favourite, gets a festive winter makeover with just a couple of extra ingredients.

Winter Aperol Spritz
Serves 1

INGREDIENTS
For The Cranberry Simple Syrup
½ cup water
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup cranberries
1 cinnamon stick
1 sprig rosemary


Aperol Spritz
3 ounces Aperol
3 ounces prosecco
1 ounce cranberry simple syrup
1 ounce club soda

Garnish
fresh cranberries
sugared rosemary
cinnamon stick
orange slice
 

INSTRUCTIONS

Cranberry Simple Syrup: Add all of the simple syrup ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat.Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Let cool completely to room temperature, then strain into a glass jar and seal tightly with a lid. Store in the fridge for up to a month!

Aperol Spritz: Simply fill a wine glass with ice, then add in the Aperol, prosecco, cranberry simple syrup, and a splash of club soda. Garnish with an orange slice, cranberries, and sugared rosemary.
