This one-of-a-kind bag is handcrafted in Japan from a vintage 100% silk fukuro obi—a formal kimono sash traditionally reserved for ceremonial dress. The textile features chrysanthemum motifs framed within a bold kikkō, or tortoiseshell, pattern.

Deep black accents create a dramatic foundation for rich shades of red, blue, green, purple, ivory and gold. The combination of geometric structure, floral ornament and luminous metallic threads gives the bag a classic yet modern presence.
