Inspiration strikes at the oddest times. While exploring the beautiful sights at Hobart, Tasmania, I stopped to sit and rest. Looking down, I observed the light play through the holes in this beautiful metal park bench and decided to make it a project. Emulating the curve of the bench, the holes changed shape depending on the viewpoint and created a geometric and illusional pattern that I knew must become one of Lolili’s more graphic designs. Black, white and shades of grey. This fun monochrome scarf is powerful in design, playful to wear, multi-seasonal, and can go from the most casual to the most elegant accessory. That’s versatility!
